Hello guys and I'm back with a new picking technique video. I have actually recorded a total of 4 different picking technique videos, but I chose not to post PT2 and 3, so that explains the title. This is how fast I play when I'm "in the zone". To those who have seen the first PT vid, you might notice that I have changed where I derive my picking motion from index and thumb muscles to wrist muscles, simply because it feels more "natural" when playing with accents, plus it is a bit more aggressive on the strings. I am using my trusty Marshall MG for the amplificaciones, enjoy! PS: The feel I used in my playing here is "uneasy," characterized by very fast passages combined with just the right note choices. It is similar to what John Petrucci refers to as "building tension" in a song, which is how shredding is commonly used today.
